From mid-December to mid-March, Adam's Family Farm offers day and evening sleigh rides as well as special sleigh rides for Christmas Eve and the New Year, the Full Moon, and Valentines Day.

Each sleigh is pulled by two Belgian draft horses and warm blankets are provided. The whole ride with the stop at the old log cabin lasts approximately 1 1/2 hours.

Vermont sleigh rides are a perfect idea for any special event, such as a surprise birthday party, family get-together, motor coach tour or school trip, and makes the perfect place for a small intimate wedding. Local caterers have all enjoyed working at Adams Farm's special sleighing parties. The sleigh ride operation has three sleighs and can accommodate up to 50 people at a time. Each sleigh can hold 15-18 people.

Private Sleigh Rides

Adams Farm also has a private vintage sleigh, which looks like it came straight from a Currier and Ives scene. It is pulled by one of the farm's own, Vermont Morgan Horses. This 45-minute journey is complete with German sleigh bells and a bear skin lap robe to cuddle beneath. Perfect for anyone wishing to "pop the question."

Fondue Night Sleigh Rides

On Wednesday evenings, take a sleigh ride to a log cabin in the woods to try some of the Adams family’s traditional fondue made with homemade fudge. Enjoy a cup of mulled cider while dipping an assortment of fresh fruits and baked snowflake goods into the fondue pot.
